Homeport Gallery, a venture by Homeport (aka Columbus Housing Partnership) to foster community development through art, opened its doors on the weekend of May 13th in the King-Lincoln District (KLD). The gallery is located next to the historic Lincoln Theatre and regular business hours are 12:00PM – 6:00PM Thursday and Saturday, 3:00PM – 6:00PM Friday, and 1:00PM – 4:00PM Sunday and by appointment.
Through its programs, Homeport has cemented roots in the KLD with its Homeport Home Ownership office located on Long Street, and the North of Broad (NoBo) community, an urban revitalization initiative, between 20th and 22nd streets.
Establishing the Homeport Gallery further strengthens ties to the area and helps Homeport continue its original vision for NoBo – to develop an economically diverse urban community that sets a new standard in Columbus for neighborhood revitalization.
